House rules
Read the house rules of Forma 1 Fitness to ensure a safe, respectful, and smooth workout experience for all members.
Dear Guest! Thank you for choosing Forma 1 Fitnesz to unwind and to look after your health! So that every guest can train in a calm and pleasant environment, please follow the rules below. Together with the General Terms and Conditions (GTC), these house rules set out the rules for using the gym, and they form part of the GTC; please read them before you enter. The house rules can also be viewed at the front desk.
General rules
- Forma 1 Fitnesz is operated by F1F Kft.
- Everyone uses the facility in line with their own state of health and fitness, following these house rules and the instructions of the staff.
- The staff may refuse entry only for one of the following reasons: you do not have a valid pass or ticket; the gym has reached its capacity limit (see “Capacity and occupancy limit”); you are drunk or intoxicated, or your condition visibly endangers your own safety or the safety of others; you have been banned from the gym; on site you seriously breach the house rules and do not stop when asked to. The staff will tell you the reason for the refusal; if you dispute it, you can make a complaint (GTC, Complaints handling).
- Free bicycle storage and paid car parking are available to you. The bicycle storage is supervised by the building’s porter’s lodge; we accept no liability for the bicycles stored there.
- Services may only be used with a valid pass or a prepaid day ticket.
- Passes are personal and non-transferable. Their expiry date is only extended in the cases set out in the GTC (suspension, a closure on our side).
- The fee for replacing a lost pass card or locker key is shown in the price list displayed at the front desk. The entry card fee is the price of the card, not a deposit: it is not refunded when the card is returned.
- The staff may ask you to prove your identity with a photo ID (for example when checking a card that entitles you to a discount). We do not make a copy of the document.
- On your first visit, your name and e-mail address are needed for registration.
- To use a discount (student/SZTE), you need to show a student ID or faculty card in your name. Eligibility for the discount may be checked at random at any time, and it must be re-verified every semester.
- Entry is for training purposes only. Combat sports matches, competitions or events that attract spectators are not allowed.
- Training sessions may only be held by personal trainers approved by and under contract with us. If someone trains others without permission, entry may be refused or the guest may be asked to leave the gym.
- If a guest contributed to the occurrence of damage (for example by breaking the house rules or ignoring the instructions of the staff), we take this into account when determining liability under the Hungarian Civil Code. This does not exclude our liability for our own breach of contract. The rules on liability are set out in point 15 of the GTC.
- Outside opening hours, the operator may hold private events.
Entry and exit
- Entry is by scanning a QR code.
- After your QR code is scanned, you receive a locker key at the front desk, which also serves as proof of your entry.
- Your exit is finalised when you return the key.
- If you lose the key, we charge the replacement fee shown in the price list displayed at the front desk.
Locker use
- Lockers are assigned in order of arrival. Individual locker preferences cannot be taken into account.
- A locker can only be changed in the following cases:
- if the locker does not lock;
- if the guest’s bag does not fit in it.
- The change is approved by the colleague at the front desk.
- If you insist on a particular locker, you can rent one, in limited numbers and for a fee.
- Day-use locker: may only be used for the duration of your training. Belongings left in it overnight are taken out after closing and handled as found property (see below).
- Long-term rented locker: we do not empty it every day. When the rental expires, we notify you by e-mail or phone; if you do not empty it within 15 days of the notification, we open it in the presence of two staff members, list its contents, and handle them as found property.
- By accepting the key, the guest agrees to use the locker as intended.
- A guest who intentionally damages a locker must pay for the damage caused.
- We do not provide separate safekeeping (a safe, or valuables held against a receipt), so please do not leave valuables in the locker. This sentence does not exclude our liability if the damage results from our breach of contract (GTC, point 15).
Towels and hair ties
- Using a towel is mandatory. You can rent one at the front desk, according to the current price list.
- Hair ties are provided free of charge on request.
Etiquette and hygiene
- Respect the other guests: avoid loud or obscene talk and any behaviour that disturbs others.
- In the gym, drinks are only allowed from a closable bottle.
- Indoor shoes are mandatory in the gym. If someone trains without indoor shoes and does not change shoes when asked by the staff, we may charge the hygiene fee (a contractual penalty) under point 12 of the GTC.
- Eating is not allowed in the gym.
- Please take phone calls in the changing room or the lobby; please avoid phone calls in the training area.
- Wipe the equipment with a disinfectant cloth after use.
- Do not come to train when you are ill (for example with a fever or an infection)!
Safety
- The training area and the front desk of the facility are under camera surveillance. The details (purpose, retention period, who may review the footage, how you can request a copy of the footage) are set out in point II.15 of the Privacy Policy. There are no cameras in the changing rooms, the showers or the toilets.
- If you have an accident or feel unwell, notify the staff immediately!
- Emergency numbers:
- Ambulance: 104
- Fire brigade: 105
- Police: 107
- General emergency number: 112
Cash desk closing
- The cash desk at the front desk closes 15 minutes before closing time. Please plan your training accordingly!
Use of machines and equipment
- Always use the machines and equipment as intended!
- Put free weights and equipment back in their place after use.
- If you notice faulty or dangerous equipment, do not use it, and report it at the front desk immediately!
- Maintenance or the replacement of machines may lead to temporary closures; we announce these in advance on the website, on social media and at the front desk. The consequences of a closure (extension of passes, refunds) are set out in point 11 of the GTC.
Staff and trainers
- Please follow the instructions of the staff and the trainers!
- If you have any question or problem, feel free to turn to the front desk.
Group classes
- Booking in advance is required for every group class.
- The cancellation deadline for each class is shown in the booking system; until then, your booking can be cancelled free of charge.
- In case of a no-show (you booked with a valid pass, did not cancel by the deadline, and did not come), a time-based pass is shortened by one day, and one session is deducted from a session-based pass. It does not count as a no-show if, on the day of the class, you entered the gym between 60 minutes before the start of the class and the end of the class. The booking system shows the cancellation deadline and the deduction before you book. The details and the exceptions are set out in point 8 of the GTC.
Companions and children
- Companions may not enter the weights area.
- If you are waiting for someone, you can wait in the lobby.
- Usage limits (the gym’s rule):
- Under 16, training is only allowed in personal training sessions, with a trainer.
- Between 16 and 18, you may also train on your own, with the signed consent form of a parent (legal guardian), which we record at the front desk.
- Group classes are not open to anyone under 18.
- Concluding the contract: for a guest under 18, the pass is bought by the legal guardian, or the legal guardian approves the contract concluded by the minor in the consent form. The minor’s own statement does not replace this; a pass bought online cannot be used until the signed consent form has been handed in. Details: GTC, point 13.
- Under the Hungarian Civil Code, the minor and the persons obliged to supervise the minor are liable for damage caused by the minor. This does not exclude the gym’s and the trainer’s own liability.
Lost property
- Belongings left in the changing room, in a day-use locker or in the gym are collected after closing every day and handled as found property. For long-term rented lockers, the rule in the “Locker use” section applies.
- We register found items (with the day they were found and the day they reached the front desk), and keep them at the front desk for 3 months. If the owner can be identified (for example by a name or a card), we notify them and hand the item over when they come.
- If nobody claims an item within 3 months, we sell it in accordance with the law on found property (Hungarian Civil Code, sections 5:58 and 5:59), or hand it over to the local notary (jegyző). The sale price is not our income: we keep it separately, and the person entitled to it may claim it within one year of the item being found; after that, it must be settled as the law requires.
- Personal documents and bank cards are kept separately, in a locked place, and handled as required by law or by the card issuer.
- We only throw away genuine waste (for example food leftovers, empty or leaking bottles, used sanitary products) and hazardous substances, or handle them under the rules that apply to them. Items that can still be used are kept even if they are of little value. The detailed procedure: “Lost property: front desk procedure”.
Zero tolerance
- In case of aggressive, disrespectful or intimidating behaviour, we give a warning; in serious or repeated cases, we may terminate the contract with immediate effect under point 14 of the GTC and ban the person from the gym.
- In the case of such a termination, the settlement is set out in point 14 of the GTC: we account separately for the fee for the unused part and for our lawful claims against you.
Capacity and occupancy limit
- At busy times (especially on weekdays between 4 pm and 8 pm), the front desk may refuse entry if the number of people in the gym at the same time has reached 180 people.
Photos and videos
- You may only take photos or videos for your own use if doing so does not infringe the personality rights of other guests.
Special training rules
- Take extra care in the functional training area!
- Use the machines and free weights within your own capacity; if you are unsure, ask the staff or a trainer for help.
- Damage caused by guests to each other is the liability of the person who caused it; this does not exclude our liability if the damage is also connected to our breach of contract.
- A first aid kit is available at the front desk. In case of an accident, the staff draw up a report.
ACCIDENT REPORT
If a guest suffers an accident, an injury or a sudden illness on the premises of the gym, the staff draw up a report. The purpose of the report is to make it possible to clarify the event later, and to allow both parties to prove any claim (for example an insurance or compensation claim).
The report contains only the following:
- the time and place of the event;
- the name and contact details of the guest concerned;
- a short description of what happened;
- a short, non-medical description of the injury or illness observed (for example “was holding her left ankle and could not stand on it”) and the help given (first aid, calling an ambulance);
- the statements of the trainer or the front desk staff member and of the witnesses about the event;
- the guest’s statement (for example whether they asked for further care, or accepted or declined the help offered).
We do not record any diagnosis, medical history, medication or other health data that is not needed for the event. The report is kept on paper, in a locked place; only the managing director and the gym manager have access to it. The retention period (5 years, or until the end of any legal dispute) is set out in point II.16 of the Privacy Policy.
Please report an accident immediately if you can, because a report drawn up on the spot makes any later procedure much easier. If you report it later, we will still accept and investigate the report; a late report does not in itself exclude your claims under the law.
Data protection
- The data needed for entry and booking is handled in the booking system. Exactly what data we handle, for what purpose, for how long and to whom we pass it on is set out in the Privacy Policy.
- We use your data to provide the service and to stay in contact with you. We send the notifications required for the contract (for example booking confirmations, invoices, renewal notices) by e-mail.
- We may also send newsletters and offers to the e-mail address you give us; you can unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of every e-mail, at the front desk or by e-mail.
Communication
- For the latest information and timetable changes, visit: www.forma1fitnesz.hu

Final provision
We only amend these house rules because of the operation of the gym, safety, hygiene or a change in the law. We post an amendment at the front desk and publish it on the website at least 15 days before it takes effect, unless safety requires an immediate rule. An amendment does not change the essential terms (price, validity, services included) of a pass already purchased.
Take care of your body, it is the only place you have to live. Thank you for following the rules, and have a great workout!
